2017 Spring Welcome Week for World Tourists

The 2017 Spring Welcome Week for World Tourists successfully ended. Having started on April 28, this 10-day festival has gotten great support and interest from many people every single day.

During this festive period, the 2016–2018 Visit Korea Year and the K-Smile Campaign seized such a big chance to promote themselves through various events and performances.

As always they do,
the 16th University Students’ National Smile Team energetically took part in the promotional activities.

 A tourist information center operated during the welcome week!

The center provided many foreign visitors with useful tour information and helped them find their way.

 The Hongdae streets, a place that has a variety of things to see and eat!

Maybe foreign tourists had trouble finding the way
because there are many attractions hidden here and there.

But they didn’t have to worry! Our friends of the University Students’ National Smile Team were there to help!  🙂

 This day, the student members took pictures and had talks with foreign tourists, hoping for their nice tours in Korea. It was a deeply meaningful moment for all.

The Visit Korea Committee will work harder to present many foreign visitors with pleasant memories in Korea
not only during the welcome week but on any day of their visits!
