K-Smile Campaign Held in Myeong-dong for Welcome Week for World Tourists

On April 17, the Korea Visit Committee staged a K-Smile Campaign event around Myeong-dong in preparation for the Spring Welcome Week for World Tourists! Along with more than 150 participants, including shop owners, tourist guides, and tourist officers, the committee carried out promotional activities to spread the culture of kindness by handing out a global etiquette guide and other promotional materials.

Before the campaign event got into full swing, a taekkyeon performance was presented,

brightening up the mood and catching the attention of many tourists!

The chairman of the Seoul Tourism Association delivered a welcoming address and explained the purpose of the campaign and the schedule of subsequent events.

We couldn't leave this meaningful occasion without taking a commemorative photo!

The participants were very busy getting around Myeong-dong, one of Korea’s hottest tourist attractions, to hand out a global etiquette guide and to call for kindly hospitality to be extended to foreign tourists with a promotional picket sign in hand.
