Having performed as interpreters and tourist information assistants for foreign tourists visiting Korea at the offline event for the Visit Korea Year 2023–2024 campaign, the members of K-TravelMate are serving a leading role in improving foreign tourist satisfaction with tourism in Korea, increasing convenience services for tourists and providing them with comfort in tourism, and striving to promote the campaign throuigh their personal social networks.
For the Visit Korea Year 2023–2024, In order to promote a safe travel culture for foreign tourists to Korea, we have established a tourism safety net in cooperation with private companies.
Emergency calls, disaster alerts, safety guide, emergency shelters, medical centers, etc. are provided in five languages (Korean, English, Japanese, and Simplified/Traditional Chinese) based on the guidelines of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
