Start of Korea Grand Sale 2014: Opening Event & Airport Welcome Event On January 3, the first day of the Korea Grand Sale 2014, an opening event was held at the square in front of Doota, Dongdaemun, Seoul. Kicking off with the Hanbok fashion show promoting the beauty of Korean tradition to herald the beginning of Korea Grand Sale 2014, the event proceeded in order of congratulatory message of VIP in the tourism industry, tape cutting, unveiling ceremony of the event center, congratulatory performance of K-pop group “Topp Dogg,” and prize draw. At the event, roses in pink, the color symbolizing Korea Grand Sale, and designed shopping bags were presented to foreign tourists visiting Korea to welcome them.
