The 2024 Korea Grand Sale opening ceremony was held at ONDREAM SOCIETY in front of Myeongdong Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024. The ceremony had around 80 attendees including Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister Yu In-chon, Visit Korea Committee Chairperson Lee Boo-jin and Director Han Gyeong-ah, officials of the participating companies, and foreign tourists.
Following congratulatory messages from Chairperson Lee Boo-jin and Minister Yu In-chon,



the opening ceremony kicked off with the touching of an airline ticket on the screen.



After an introduction of the 2024 Korea Grand Sale programs and an opening performance by dancer Lia Kim from 1 MILLION Dance Studio, a demonstration of signature poses was given using the 2024 Korea Grand Sale slogan of “Your Special Moment in Korea”.



At the 2024 Korea Grand Sale Welcome Center located in front of Myeongdong Theater, information and leaflets for the Korean Grand Sale were provided along with a variety of services and events including a photo development service, a lucky draw, a receipt event, the K-Winter Game Challenge, and Happy-Day.
