The 2024 Korea Grand Sale Welcome Center was set up in the outdoor yard in front of Myeongdong Theater and operated for around 50 days from January 11 through February 29, 2024.



At the Welcome Center, foreign tourists could obtain information on the Korea Grand Sale event and related benefits,



and received giveaways including travel goods and coupon packs by participating in various events such as the receipt event.

The Welcome Center also encouraged participation by foreign tourists in the



winter sports experience program, organized in celebration of the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games,



the photo zone and photo development service,



and the Special New Year’s Day event where they could experience Korean New Year’s Day culture.



The 2024th and 10,000th visitors to the Myeongdong Welcome Center were presented with a Kodak instant camera that they could use to capture their memories in Korea.



In addition to the main Welcome Center in front of Myeongdong Theater, hub centers were operated at Beauty Play in Myeong-dong and at Line Friends in Hongdae and Seongsu, all popular destinations among foreign tourists, to provide useful information and convenient services for tourists.
